It’s about as nice as possible…..
Water flows are perfect, 62 deg. green/clear.
They raised the flows from Tahoe for rafting.
A little cooler weather this week. 70s.
Wet wading is a good approach.
PMDs, a few Caddis doing their thing.
Golden stones are around….
A few Green Drakes to keep us alert.
Crays are molting.
Both large and small Grass Hoppers are flying…
Don’t know what more you would want……
Except a really good drift.
These fish are well trained….
They watch your drift closely, they check your fly selection, and if they do eat…..
good luck getting them to hand. (They know we fish barb-less.)
We enjoy the challenge of this river, no dumb fish in the house.
Bring your game!
