Falling more….

Got our first smallish dose of snow in town.
6-7″+ of semi-fluff.
Pine trees are already shedding, and the streets are clear.
This will melt, saturate the ground, and get us ready to receive Winter.
With any luck……
It was a second very dry year here, we could use a break.

I knew this storm was coming, the last two days Spiders were flying on silk parachutes…by the millions.
Happens late Fall, and heralds snow.
How do they know?
Looking forwards to fishing today, after fishing a warmish river all Summer.
Can’t wait to see the feeder creeks running again as well.

Be aware…….The Truckee river is open year-round, and fishes pretty well….
I continue guiding all winter..Give a holler!
