The bright side…..

Winter Bow

I would say we are deep into winter….but there is no deep, to winter.                                Little, to no snow out there.                                                                                                               It’s going to get bad if we don’t rally in the next few months.                                                  The good news right now, is that there isn’t much fishing pressure…..and the fishing is pretty good.                                                                                                                                          Air and water temps are amenable to going out.                                                                          No freezing of rod guides, or Guides for that matter.                                                                       Not much in the way of bug activity, midges……and Skwalla nymphs.                                      Seeing micro-Mays in the seine, and some v-small sz20 free ranging Caddis.               Mostly fishing slower water and deep…..caught this one 12ft down……                                       Hope you are getting out!
