Summer…..

Yes friends it is that sunny time of year.
Time to get up with the sun.
Time for wet wading too!
Flows are still very nice 300-600cfs.
Upper river is a bit warm with Tahoe’s surface release. 65deg.
Bring a single hand, and a two-hander for best results.
I have heard some rafting is going on near Tahoe.
Rafters floating from Boca down to Floriston.
Go early and late to avoid them.
Golden stones, both large and small are out.
Crays are on the menu too.
Some Caddis, a couple sizes….
Few Mays are popping right now.
Midges are out in numbers….
Fish early for the most action.
But if you work hard…..they are still around mid-day.
Be sneaky, fish bubbles, and be gunfighter fast……
The fish know it’s game on.
