First frost last night!
Signs of Fall abound.
The days are a tad shorter, the leaves are changing, and the tourist crush is over.
Locals all want to seal driveways, and decks, lay in firewood and shop snow tires.
Along with the business and bustling, my need to fish is ratcheting up…..
Everybody wants to fish in the Summer……when the fish don’t really want to play.
This time of year they are thinking fishermen are gone, and it’s time to eat.
Had a sprinkle the other day, and fish were looking up again.
Believe it or not, did well on an Ant fished dry. Go figure……..
I think, they think, Winters coming soon!
Seeing flocks of Flickers, Geese, Turkey buzzards, Mergansers, and lots more.
They seem to know when the getting is good…..and so do I.
