Been a while….

Not much has changed since the last post……
Flows are still amazingly low.
On the upper river you can cross without getting your feet wet…..
The lower canyon has water because of a release from Donner Lake and Boca Lake.
The fish are playing hard to get, but are super feisty when you do find them.
Had one air out about three feet yesterday, with the line still deep in the water.
Limited bugs…..
Midges, Stones, Mahogany Dunns, and a very few small Caddis.
Very quiet on the water, few fishers, and most of the birds have flown south.
The water is so clear that it seems non-existent in the shallows.
Find water you can’t see-through for best results.
Get a good drift……..
