The local scene….

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I drove out to Prosser lake yesterday for a change….
There were close to 3000 Coots flocked up on the water, and ready to go south.
Today they were gone……..And we had frozen puddles for the first time this year.
My greatest joy, is being in touch with change….
No clock or calender for me, just the season we are in now…..
Fishing just one style, means you will hook-up, but only when that approach is working, otherwise, skunk city!
Take my word for this, the more aware you are of the changes going on around you, the better fisherman you will become. (And possibly, more centered and happy too…moving at the “speed-of-life” instead of racing with the pack.)
Looks like the storm door is starting to open for us. We hope!
We need a winter like 2010 to even begin to combat this drought.
Every body, start thinking snow!
