February……the dark side.

It’s looking kinda grim for water this summer. Too warm during the day for our snow base to remain long. We can always get more snow, but if the ground is warm and the night-time temps rise it won’t matter much. Spring comes when you hear dripping at night. It is very pleasant out until 10:00 pm. There are more fish looking up for clump midges. Too blue skies for BWOs to pop……but nymph it…. Still no Skwallas out and about, but they are coming, and I’ll let you know. This time of year, I’m out everyday.

It is pretty….
