The Weekend report

This is the first real blaster storm this year. I think the more snow we get, the happier the fish will be next season. Going to be very few people out on the water this weekend…bet you have it all to yourself. We have less than a foot of snow in town, But that will change soon. Could be nearer two feet to deal with in the next two + days. The Truckee is 46cfs in town and I’d say unfishable. Down below Hirschdale exit, the river is 133cfs….barely fish-able. Might be a good time to go skiing. The roads are a little sketchy and will get worse with the first real ski days of the year. Not ALL the rocks covered out there….be safe.
