Busy…..

Well, you can always tell when the season starts…..
I have very little time to post.
Running regular trips with all sorts of fishermen/women….and young’ens too.
Really nice conditions to fish, especially the upper river.
Lower canyon is biggish at 600cfs. Wade carefully…..and bring your big stick.
Flyin’ Ants are back after a few days of rain….
Seeing Stone fly shucks, might be short winged version…none during the day.
Have seen a couple of Golden stones….
March Browns seem to be about done.
A few larger Mays as well. Gray Drake?? No green Drakes yet…

A smattering of Caddis sz18-20, try a soft hackle.

After fishing them all Winter, I’m slow to fish them, but they work well.
They are moving to streamers, smaller is better now..
We’ve caught fish on dries, nymphs, streamers, single handed, and two handed rods…as well as High sticking…
It won’t get any nicer than it is now…….
